Background
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners is responsible for maintaining standards for quality clinical practice, education and training, and research in Australian general practice. Good Practice is the RACGP's monthly news tabloid, highlighting the issues that affect general practice in Australia today. Launched in April 2010, this publication is delivered to around 30 000 GPs each month.

Solution
As the magazine features many complex subject matters, an illustrator was commissioned to create a custom illustration each issue. The resulting images contributed to clearly differentiating the publication from the competition and creating a unique visual style. Simple and unique typography complemented the beautiful illustration and compelling content.

Results
The publication was launched with the April issue of Australian Family Physician, another RACGP publication. Good Practice immediately made an indelible impression on the circulation base, and continues to remain a leading trade publication for medical professionals.
