Background
Leo Cussen Institute is a 38 year old not for profit organisation that provides high quality education and professional support services. We were tasked with updating the brand to improve it's image and increase market share in an increasingly difficult industry. Part of this task involved consulting on the interior design and environmental graphics for the LCI offices.
Solution
In conjunction with LCI, we developed a series of virtual walkthroughs to further understand how visitors used the building. The recommendation was for each floor to be decorated with a different, yet cohesive theme to suit the department's needs. The colour palette for the renovations was derived from the brand update recently completed. Plasma screens were placed on the entrance pillar of each building for visitors to easily view upcoming programs and floor information. A wayfinding system was developed with clear signage to direct visitors to the most requested activites on the floor.
Results
The recommendations were presented to the LCI board, and plans are in place to incorporate these improvements in the coming months.
